From the Pastor…    Supporting Ministry                     

At this point in the year we find ourselves needing to step up our support of the ministries of MHBC if we are to fully fund our ministry budget for 2019.  We are blessed to have strong, steady support from many, but others need to contribute to the work of the Lord here.  Giving to God is important.  It shows our appreciation for His blessings… it clearly indicates our priority in life… it empowers kingdom work in the world today.

Do you value Christian ministry?  How about missions, Bible study, worship, community activities, youth, children, and senior adult ministries?  I hope so.  Contributions to God through the church changes lives for the better.  As God’s people, we work to make the world a better place by forming minds and hearts to the will of God in Jesus Christ.

Yes, dollars make it happen. – As you have been assured before, our staff and church teams are careful about spending funds designated for the purposes at hand.  Our finances are handled with integrity and accountability… never misspent or frivolous.  You can give with confidence.

How we finish 2019 is up to you.  It’s easy to leave it to others, but everyone’s giving is needed. – Thank you for your support in the past.  Let’s do our best in serving God.
