Order Christmas poinsettias now…

     To place poinsettias to decorate the worship center for Christmas, please indicate the number you wish to order and who they are given in memory or honor of.  Cost is $7.00 per plant and orders are needed by Nov. 26.  Email mthermon@aol.com, or call office at 794-2049, or use order form in church bulletin this Sunday.

1:00 – 4:00 PM go to CCHASM (at Chesterfield Fair Grounds)  Meet in the youth room after church for a hot dog lunch.  Bring $5.00 for dinner at CiCi's pizza.

2008 Annual Thanksgiving Meals

      The MHBC Youth  will help CCHASM collect and distribute meal packages for the Thanksgiving Holiday. CCHASM works with schools, churches, social services, and individuals in the community to assist those who do not have the resources to celebrate the holiday.
     Can you help by providing the contents of a meal package or by donating a $20 gift card (from any grocery store)?
     The youth will be receiving the donations and preparing packages for distribution on Sunday, November 23 at Chesterfield Fair Grounds (1 to 4 PM)

Each Meal Bag includes:

• 1 small box or jar of ice tea mix
• 1- 40 ounce can of yams or sweet potatoes
• 1- complete family desert item
• 1- 13 oz box of mashed potatoes
• 1- 16 oz can cranberry sauce
• 2- 16 oz pkg of stuffing mix
• 2- 15 oz can green veggies
• 2- 15 oz can corn
• 2- 10 oz can gravy
• 1 box of hot chocolate

 Please double bag the packages for added strength.
      God has given to us so that we may share with others.

Gingerbread Houses

   Christmas fun for children!

              at church, Sunday, Nov. 30 -- 3:00 PM

Children can create their own Gingerbread Houses.  Parents, plan to assist your child(ren), and please contact Kitty Snow (794-2603) so enough supplies can be ordered. - Cost is only $5.00 per child.  -- Pass the word, and bring friends!

Children’s Mission Project
 Infant Care Kits

 This year, instead of exchanging gifts, the children are going to make Infant Care Kits for the babies in Honduras.  The children will work together to assemble the kits at the Children’s Christmas Party.  We are asking that each child donate an item or items from the following list.  Stephanie Hancock’s dad and other mission workers from the Friends of Barnabas Foundation will deliver them to the families in need on their next trip.

We need your help!  In order to make as many kits as possible, we are asking everyone to participate.  You may place items in the box in the commons area, or make a monetary donation, if you prefer, and we will purchase needed items.
